For my second rotation, which I have just recently begun, I will be dividing my time between our offices in Swindon and Essen. The role is based within HR Controlling and Reward, and will give me the opportunity to learn about – and contribute to – the policy, strategy and processes associated with this area. It will also involve me taking on some exciting projects and tasks.


I can see it being a challenging few months in this role, but, luckily, I have a strong foundation on which to build. My first rotation was with our UK HR Operations team in Swindon, where I gained excellent exposure both to RWE Supply & Trading and to the wider RWE group. I also took advantage of some great training opportunities which have helped me build up my professional knowledge and skills.

As a result, I now have a good understanding of our business, and of how our key HR processes work, and consequently feel I am well-positioned to meet whatever challenges lie ahead. I am really excited about continuing to expand my knowledge and adding real value to the HR function at RWE Supply & Trading in my new graduate role.
